Rubber Grass Mats

Surface water accumulates in very wet conditions causing problems wherever grass is involved. The environmental friendly “Rubber Grass Mat” is one solution to this problem.

The mat consists of a mesh-work of holes allowing grass growing from soil beneath to grow through providing a natural green appearance whilst the mat itself acts to absorb pressure reducing the impact on the ground underneath preventing it from wear. The mats are 23mm in depth and 1m x 1.5m. Their square edges allow them to butt to adjacent mats that can either be placed on the surface or fixed down with galvanized nails or plastic pegs and joined with cable ties

Why should I choose rubber grass mats?

The rubber grass mats require no specialized skills or equipment allowing quick and easy installation furthermore no costly base works are needed (as required for conventional tiles or wet pour). They can be used on flat or contoured landscapes and are suitable for all weather, resisting uplift from high winds. They protect both the floor and the equipment. The non-slip cellular structure provides excellent durability and comfort as well as allowing liquid and debris to drain keeping the surface dry and clean.

Tested to BS EN 1177:1998 3 Meter Critical Fall Height .N.B. Please check the suitability of this product prior to installation as the CFH figure will be affected by soil type, moisture and grass. To increase critical fall height or where areas may be prone to hard soil and poor grass growth, additional layers can be used.
